🎯 Your First Sale Action Plan

Keep this page private — go to Pages in your Shopify admin and set it to Hidden when you're done reading.

✅ Already done for you (just completed)

  • About Us page — rewritten with a real human story about who you are and why Amorite exists
  • Shipping & Returns page — honest delivery times (7–21 days), clear returns policy in plain language
  • FAQ page — answers to the real questions skeptical customers ask before buying
  • Contact page — warm and inviting, makes emailing you feel safe and easy
  • 3 blog posts — brand introduction, trust builder, and a pet bed buying guide
  • Google SEO title and description — now reads "Amorite – Real Products, Real People"

🔴 Do these TODAY (free, takes about 1 hour)

1. Remove or replace the fake homepage testimonials

Your homepage shows reviews from "Sofia M.", "Laura K.", and "Marco R." — these are placeholder names that experienced shoppers recognise as fake. This destroys trust the moment they're spotted. Go to: Online Store → Themes → Customize → Homepage → scroll to the "What Customers Say" section → either delete it or change the text to something honest like "We're new! Reviews coming soon as our first customers share their experiences."

2. Fix your discount popup timing

The WELCOME10 popup fires the moment someone arrives. This feels desperate. In your Sendwill app settings, change the trigger to: exit intent (when they move to close the browser), OR delay it to 45+ seconds after arrival. Both feel more natural and respectful.

3. Get 5 real reviews this week

Use the email template at the bottom of this page. Ask 5–10 people you know (friends, family, anyone). Have them order the cheapest product. Refund their order. Ask for an honest review. Even 5 genuine reviews is a complete transformation for a new store.

4. Submit your sitemap to Google (takes 5 minutes)

Visit search.google.com/search-console → add your store → verify ownership → submit https://amoritestore.com/sitemap.xml. This is the single most important SEO action you can take right now. All 625 products have new optimised titles and descriptions — but Google needs to be told to go look at them.

🟡 Do these this week

5. Turn on auto review request emails

Both Judge.me and Loox are installed. Open each app from your Shopify admin → Apps section. Find the settings for automatic review request emails and turn them ON. Every future customer will automatically be asked to review after delivery. This builds social proof on autopilot forever.

6. Install the Facebook Pixel NOW

1,700 people visited your store and left without buying. The Facebook Pixel captures who they are so you can show them targeted ads later. Go to: Shopify Admin → Online Store → Preferences → scroll to Facebook Pixel → add your pixel ID. If you don't have a Facebook Business account yet, create one at business.facebook.com — it's free.

7. Post one short video on TikTok or Instagram

Pick your most visually interesting product. Film yourself using it, unboxing it, or showing why you love it. Post it. Be genuine — don't try to be a professional. Your traffic is young (mostly Malaysia and USA). These people discover products through video. One good video can outperform 1,000 paid ad visitors.

8. Add YOUR name to the About Us page

The About Us page is now warm and human — but adding your own name (even just a first name) and ideally a photo makes a huge difference. "Hi, I'm [name], the person behind Amorite" — this one sentence makes people dramatically more likely to trust their money with you.

Hi [name] 👋

I launched my online store called Amorite recently and I'm trying to get my very first reviews. Would you be willing to order something small? I'll refund your full payment — I just really need the honest feedback and review.

The store is amoritestore.com — use code WELCOME10 for 10% off. Any product is fine. When it arrives, just leave an honest review on the product page.

It would honestly mean so much to me right now. Thank you! 💙

🔵 This month

  • Pick ONE niche to focus your marketing on (pets, beauty, or jewellery are your strongest based on what you sell)
  • Write 2 more blog posts — buying guides for your most popular categories
  • Consider adding a WhatsApp button so customers can ask questions before buying (apps like "WhatsApp Chat" are free)
  • Set up Google Analytics 4 for free traffic data and conversion tracking

You have real traffic. That's the hardest part — and you already have it. Everything above is about converting those visitors into buyers by building trust. You can do this. 💙
